Blue Dye Over Light Pink Hair
A little over a year ago i made a beauty move i d been fantasizing about for years.
Blue dye over light pink hair. Pink is a hair color which cannot be removed very easily. I diluted ion blue a lot so i could end with light blue hair. The stylist told me that he ll be dyeing over my pink hair.
Whether your hair is light brown deep auburn or so dark brown that it almost looks black you will have to remove the brown color from your hair to let brilliant hair dyes like pink blue and green shine through. According to the color wheel pink can be cancelled out using light shades of green. I thought that he would use bleach or some sort of color stripper to make sure the color is gone but he told me that the dye will be able to change the color as it is darker than the color of my hair.
For example i was bright red and decided i wanted to go blue. As of right now you could put blue dye over the brassy color you have but it ll likely end up a muddy greenish color. He first used an oil based hair dye and directly dyed over my hair.
To cancel out pink undertones or pigments you just need to dye it in a different color. So i lightened my hair to a medium yellow as light as it would go without serious damage then threw on the blue dye over it and had a green period as the green faded to a pale mint color over a few weeks i was able to reapply a darker blue with lovely results. I have never had as much trouble getting color off my hands as i did with blue velvet.
So make sure when you choose to dye your hair pink you dye it carefully. Looked into the mirror and was shocked. You will get pink and blue hair purple hair or pinkish blue and some purple dye strands of hair.
I don t want to bleach as my hair is in bad enough condition as it is. I went from brunette to colorful strands with the help of blue hair dye by dyeing my hair blue with green at. It s a solid dye and i don t think you have to fade at all for it.
